• B – Breathing: Once the airway is open, it’s checked whether the person is breathing or not. If the person is not breathing, artificial respiration (such as mouth-to-mouth resuscitation) or CPR should be started immediately.
• C – Circulation: This refers to whether blood is flowing through the person’s body. If the person’s heart stops beating, attempts are made to maintain blood circulation through CPR.
